Apple iMac MB419B/A ... have been an Apple devotee for nearly 10 years so when my old, old, old PowerBook G4 died there were very few products I was willing to consider. Despite the (comparatively) hefty price tag I opted for this 24" iMac and I have to say my decision has been justified a million times over. I work as a video editor so I really require three things: Raw processing power, excellent graphics rendering and exciting software to run. With this mac I get all this and more. The mac runs Final Cut Studio like a dream, and I am yet, in 6 months, to have a single problem from either lack of speed or lack of graphics quality. Acer Aspire G7700 Predator ... Acer Aspire G7700 Predator has to be one of the best manufactured made PCs I ve ever seen to date and I ve been wanting it ever since I had my first Acer Aspire system. Now, The one unique thing about this system that I ve never seen on another system made by a company is the case, If anyone has been curious how you get to the CD drive and such you just lift the front panel which was a really neat design and have never seen anything like that before (Though chances are there s other system with the same door, just I ve never seen a computer like this before). Shuttle K-Series K45S ... is a legendary barebone PC! I ve used shuttles before and generally I found them to be only good for putting a quiet little PC in the lounge as a substitute for a high end DVD player / PVR. This shuttle in particular is absolutely legendary! Firstly, ALL of its hardware is supported by Mac OSX so you can turn it into a fully functional MAC using a retail copy of MAC OSX 10.5.4 with very little effort. I think this is the only complete barebone PC on the market that is *this* easy to turn into a hackintosh. Beware though, installing MAC OSX on non-apple hardware can void your software license.
