Dell Dimension 5150C Multimedia Home:
... told isn’t so fast but is made up for by a 1Gb of RAM. The RAM can be upgraded to a frightening 4Gb. It has, apparently connections inside to do this. Please will someone tell me how! I’ve seen the components and they look horribly fragile, not to mention expensive. My experience as a consumer is good here. Applications can run offline and online 5 or 6 at a time without too much noticeable lag in any of them.

Shuttle XPC SB95PV2 ... a great buy to people who love space and building a SSF Coputer. Its still a barebone but just few extra adding ull get an PC what is great for Home Entertaiming and Gaming. Basicly just add a Intel Core 2 Duo prossecor,PCI -E 16x GPU,some memory and HDD .So u can ewen choose what to buy. So its fully customiseable and the company has quite good. Compaq Evo D500 ... seen being when I tried to open I.E (could be down to the I.E. not being the greatest of programs though). Everything else opens speedily, the stuff I'm typing has no lag (always annoying for us touch typist's huh? ;-)). The hard drive is relatively small however (the one I'm on having around 31GB of space), this may be a problem to you I-tunes/Napster/P2P/Bit-torrent users (I'm not advocating the stealing of music here, but still a small hard drive will do you lot no favours). And again backs up the idea that the computer is not a gaming one, but more of an "office" one if you will. The sound is very faint if even audible (I'm sat in a room of around 50... Sony Vaio PCV-RS312 ... like the speed of the system and the storage capacity. It will be okay for people that stuffs like video game, audio editting and video editting. It has flat screen monitor which make it very clear for viewing and cheaper to maintain in terms of power consumption. It is very affordable and user friendly.
