Apple iMac MB325B/A ... ve had my iMac for a nearly two years now, and have had only one problem, after a year the fan began to stay on all the time. A quick Google search found a very easy fix and we were back on track. Thanks to the 512gb dedicated ram the graphics are spot on, high quality games such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare run smoothly. I also use 3D graphics software such as Autodesk Maya which regularly crashes on my similar spec PC laptop... no such problems here. The sound, although not exactly Dolby Digital is surprisingly loud and clean for those small speakers. This teamed with a the fantastic 24" wide screen makes video viewing as good as any TV. HP Compaq Business Desktop Dc7900 ... is a very smart slimline PC. Very sleak and modern in design and looks. Being so slim it can fit in a very small space so as not using too much valuable desk space. The machine is of a high spec with regards to current day specifications with its Core 2 Due processor etc. And as it is part of HPs most stable range, you wont find many occassions when it freezes etc (none of mine ever have yet). A good offer when buying this is the XP Downgrade offer from Vista, as not all businesses have got 100% Vista capable applications (like my own). HP Compaq Business Desktop Dc7600 ... own one of these pc s and also fix them at work (Tech support/hardware support) and I ve been pretty impressed with the quality and performance. It s ideal for browsing the internet and office work and it ll even play games so you can keep the kids entertained (Fifa 09 works a treat on my machine - although I have 1Gb ram). We ve had a variety of pc s in work through-out the years and you start to notice patterns in the failings of certian model pc s, a certian branded pc came with 3rd party capacitors which were faulty, so when a fault was reported we knew straight away what the problem was.
