Compaq Deskpro EN ... Several of these pc s at a very low price and I have found them a joy to work with. Although these machines are quite old, they still have their uses. One very unique feature of this series of computer is the ability for it to accept a wide variety of CPU s. All you need to do is to buy a socket 370 (PGA370) to a Slot 1 socket. Some of mine have got 1.4GHZ Celerons in them and they boot fine, this was a large improvement over the standard Pentium 2 s and 3 s which they were designed for. Another nice feature about these computers is the sheer durability of the design, the cases are so well built that you can physically drop them, and they will be fine, however ... Mesh Elite Entertainer ... winning PC s. I have had this PC now for well over 1 year. It services my home and business needs and I do require a fast PC for continuous refreshing of financial markets, usually several applications at once. On the odd occassion I use for gaming (though rare) but it does not present a problem even with relatively new games. However, I certainly would not recommend to a serious gamer (but I seriously doubt hard core gamers would be looking to buy this PC anyway). This PC is directed towards mainly the family as it is a media edition. The media edition itself is actually good. Shuttle XPC SB95PV2 ... shuttle has problems knowing what it really is...is it a media machine or a pc... the trouble is it lacks enough real power to be classed as a serious pc.. its generally good enough for basic home use but try using a hi res pixel eating game and the shuttle fails due to lack of credibal power and grunt... in the words of the great man this pc is all fur coat and no knickers !!...
