We ve had a variety of pc s in work through-out the years and you start to notice patterns i...

... I start, let me make this clear: I m by no means a PC expert. I know my way around them, but I m not able to tell you how RAM works, or what a GH is without first reading about it. This shouldn t deter you, though. Not everyone who buys a PC wants to read about hard data. I own this computer. In fact, I m using it right now to write this review. Spooky? Not really. But what is spooky is that I ve owned it for such a long time and it s still running as smooth as when I bought it. It s my understanding that computers tend to deteriorate after several years of use, but this thing is a juggernaut. When it was new it played every game available. Sure it wasn t chea...

... pc has been excellent - I bought it 3 years ago and have not had any real trouble with it. The dell website was really easy to use to customise your requirements although watch out for the hidden costs of buying software such as Word etc which is not included in the original price online. The pc has all the features you would expect of a budget pc but it provides sufficient memory to store thousands of songs and photos as well as deal with day-to-day activities. The pc tower is still one of the larger ones but looks ok. The flatscreen monitor is good although I would have bought a 17" if I had my time again. One problem I did have with this pc was that the US...

LastLine Acer Aspire T140
... computer has proven to be a real gem. I bought it five years ago now and it s still holding it s own very well. I bought it primarily as a gaming machine as at the time my desktop PC was starting to clunk and grind and I had a new game that I wanted to play, the name of which escapes me now. At the time it was neither groundbreaking nor out of date, it was actually a bit of both, fairly good middle of the line. The AMD 64 chip packed a punch and let it run most games with good speed, and still does even by today s standard, perhaps due to games now being a bit more friendly towards a 64 bit architecture. I m not sure on the technicalities but for an old chip it stil...
