Apple iMac MB325B/A ... that you d expect them to last forever I now realise that I ve gone through two computers in the last few years, no mean feat and at quite an expense. With technology moving on so fast getting a new computer is a pleasure despite the finincial pain. With the advent of the blue screen of death and a host of other problems with my last computer it was time for something new. Off to PC world with the hopes that in the two years since I last bought a tower that they d have come down in price and size. Apple iMac MB325B/A ... ve had my iMac for a nearly two years now, and have had only one problem, after a year the fan began to stay on all the time. A quick Google search found a very easy fix and we were back on track. Thanks to the 512gb dedicated ram the graphics are spot on, high quality games such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare run smoothly. I also use 3D graphics software such as Autodesk Maya which regularly crashes on my similar spec PC laptop... no such problems here. The sound, although not exactly Dolby Digital is surprisingly loud and clean for those small speakers. This teamed with a the fantastic 24" wide screen makes video viewing as good as any TV. HP Compaq Business Desktop Dc7900 ... is a very smart slimline PC. Very sleak and modern in design and looks. Being so slim it can fit in a very small space so as not using too much valuable desk space. The machine is of a high spec with regards to current day specifications with its Core 2 Due processor etc. And as it is part of HPs most stable range, you wont find many occassions when it freezes etc (none of mine ever have yet). A good offer when buying this is the XP Downgrade offer from Vista, as not all businesses have got 100% Vista capable applications (like my own).
