The Apple Mac Mini is an excellent computer for those who currently have a Windows PC and would like to enjoy the advanced yet simple technology of a Mac. The computer has miniature dimensions of 16cm x 3cm x 3cm. It has 2 cores and is available in the 1.83GHz or 2GHz version. It is an extremely powerful computer, especially considering ... it's size. It is also very small so conserves space.
It has it's own disc drive so you can insert DVDs, blank discs or games to watch movies, burn CDs and have fun! Whoever says Macs aren't for games is a liar. You can walk into any Apple store and see a whole wall of games for Macs including some of the best such as World of Warcraft, The Sims and many more. The GHz of the mac are proportionally more powerful than those of PCs so this computer is very fast and powerful making use very efficient.
The current Mac Mini comes with the latest Leopard OS X operating system. It is excellent with many features that you will love! With the use of the Mac keyboard and Mighty Mouse (highly recommended), you can use your Mac with great ease. The dashboard is a new feature in which you can customise by adding snippets such as weather/tracking flights/dictionary/translator and more.
The Mac Mini comes with many great applications with this latest operating system such as iTunes, iMovie, Garageband, iCal, iMail and Safari. iTunes can be used to organise your music and listen to it. iMovie is great for creating movies before exporting them as a specific file type to be uploaded to YouTube or sent to iTunes for your iPod. Ever wanted to make your own music? Well now you can with the superb application - Garageband. You can use a variety of instruments and also add vocals with many preset sounds, beats and more to create audio tracks. iCal is great for organising your everyday activities along with iMail where you can link your email account to. Safari is the official Apple browser and is very fast and efficient in my opinion. The Mac Mini even has a built in speaker although I use the ones on my monitor as they are considerably louder. The Mac Mini is absolutely silent when turned on, which is excellent.
The Mac Mini must be set up with your own screen, keyboard and mouse. You can buy Apple versions of all of these but I would stick to a cheaper screen as the Apple ones are very expensive, despite the great quality. However, be sure to buy an Apple keyboard and Mouse as they are designed to work well with the Mac and also look good with it. You can buy the Mac Mini 1.83GHz version for £391 off the Apple site or in offline stores/across the internet on sites such as amazon.co.uk. The 2GHz version is £488, which isn't really worth it as it isn't much faster.

The Mac Mini is a revolutionary computer. It is so small yet so capable. I have had mine for 2 months now and it has performed brilliantly. It is very small at around 16cm x 16cm x 5cm. It has a hole to insert a disc into, so can be used to watch movies, burn CDs, play games and more.
The new Mac Mini comes with the all new ... Leopard version. This brings great functions such as 'Stacks' to help clear up your desktop and make it neat and easy to use. There are so many functions that the Mac Mini is capable of that you will just have to find out for yourself.
It is very easy to work and you will get used to the new feel quickly if you are an ex PC user. This computer is designed for users who choose to buy a mac after having a PC. You can keep your old monitor and hook it up to the Mac Mini even with your old keyboard and mouse by using any of the 4 USB ports the mac mini has. The mac mini even has a built in speaker to support sound, although it is not of excellent quality.
The Mac Mini is very fast and can support numerous applications opening at once whereas a PC would most probably freeze or crash in comparison. It is also a lot safer to use than other computers with its built in security. By accessing the system preferences, you can customise your mac however you like by choosing everything from the desktop picture to energy saving settings.
What makes the mac mini so much greater than any other mac is it's size. Despite being so small, it is extremely capable due to the remarkable technology it consists of. The new Mac Mini consists of a Core Duo hard drive at either 1.83Ghz or 2.0Ghz depending on the version you buy. Further upgrades can be chosen from the apple store and they will custom-make your mac to your preferences within a week. Prices start at £399.99.

The Apple Mac Mini is a remarkable machine, which is ideal for PC users wishing to purchase a Mac. The Mac Mini I own is the 1.83GHz version, but you can also buy a 2GHz version. It has an intel core 2 duo processor, 1GB of RAM, an 80GB hard drive and 64MB video card. When you buy the Mac Min it comes in a small box with the ... instructions, start up discs and cables. The Mac Mini also comes with a small controller for the dashboard.
You simply hook it up to a monitor, keyboard and mouse before booting it up to get on the way with your new computer. The dimensions of this gadget are amazing. It is 16.5 cm x 16.5 cm x 5.1 cm and weighs just over 1.3kg. It has a disc drive too and is absolutely silent when running. It even has a built in speaker, which isn't very powerful, but it is a benefit to have. There are 4 USB slots at the back where you can plug in your keyboard, mouse, printer and scanner or any other devices.
This Mac comes with the version 10.5 Leopard operating system. This is currently the latest version and features a variety of options. It comes with several applications such as Safari (internet browser), iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, iCal, Address Book, iChat and more. The Dashboard features a few things to make your life easier including weather, calculator, calendar, flight information and more things you can add to it. With the Apple Mighty Mouse (recommended), you can access the dashboard at a click of the scroll button. It is very useful and easy to use.
The computer is lightening quick and runs smoothly. You can open several applications at once and the Mac Mini will handle this well and rarely crashes. The Mac Mini is extremely secure against viruses and spyware. It has built in security, which can be updated using the Software Update program. There are many options in the System Preferences to change everything from your display, desktop picture, screensaver to settings, security, parental controls and many more.
You can buy the 1.83GHz version for £399.99 and the 2GHz version for £499.99 at any Apple store or online. They are very powerful computers and are ideal for making music, editing photos and composing high quality movies. The Mac Mini is very easy to use and takes little time to get used to. I would recommend the Wired Mighty Mouse and new Apple keyboard to suit your Mac Mini. They all work well together to give you an excellent computer.
