Advantages: Can be upgraded easily and cheaply to cope with high end games

Disadvantages: Could do with a better processor, but at this price, who's complaining?

Got this from Misco as an open box for a shade under £200, so it was pretty much all set up when I plugged it in. Three years later and it's served me well. Granted, there was a corruption on the harddrive the other year and I had to have an new one installed, but that might just be down to how I use it more than anything.

As with the nother reviewer, I teamed it up with an Acer 17 flatscreen monitor and it looks the business, with its silver and black colour scheme.

The PC itself is more than capable of day to day tasks such as desktop publishing and web browsing, but I decided to up the RAM (simple enough and more room to plug in another GB, up to 4 maximum. I also bunged in a Geforce graphics card, again, simple to install and update.

I can now run a surprising amount of higher-end games. Maybe not on amazing settings, but more than enough to get full enjoyment out of playing them; Half Life 2, Far Cry, Red Alert 3, Dawn of War 2 all work fine now I've upgraded the insides!

The PC comes with all the normal things you'd expect; floppy and DVD ROM drives, plenty of expansion bays with a safe click system to hold everything in place. Nice blue neon lights to give it a classy look in the dark and four USB bays on the front- useful for connecting cameras and other peripherals.

In short, everything you'd expect from a budget PC, with room to upgrade it into a meaner machine.

Summary: Does exactly what it says on the tin.
