Advantages: quite a good spec PC

Disadvantages: " expensive for what it has

Exapandability: Tech support couldn't even tell me what the memory specs were for my aspire. The memory they reccomended crashed the box both alone and with the existing mem. It probably just needs a jumper setting switched, but Acer can't tell me what that might be and won't supply the specs for their proprietary board. Reliability: The monitor has blown 3 times so far and flickers like crazy. The hard drive started whining like badger in heat after only 9 months. I have had wonderful experiences with Dell at my work.
