Got mine a few months back. First time ever using a MAC and it's a great experience that I wish I had adopted sooner.

This computer makes intensive tasks seem very easy. Even complex work in Photoshop is completed very quickly indeed. There is a cooling fan in the iMac, but for most of the time you really don't notice it. Only when doing video work does the fan speed up and you can hear it, but it is still quieter than most PC's.

You get a lot of useful software with the iMac. . Editing together pro-looking videos is so so easy. Luckily with new Macs, including this one, you get iMovie for free as part of the iLife suite of applications. You also get iDVD, iPhoto and GarageBand. On top of all this Mac OS X, the operating system used to control the iMac is very fast and stable, a real joy to use.
