Advantages: Sexy, ease of use, OS reliability

Disadvantages: Hardware failures

This is my first Apple and there really is no going back. It's so simple to use, reliable (well the OS anyway), sexy... there just aren't enough superlatives.

It does everything a Windows PC does, it just does it with more style. Compatibility isn't a problem; there are some websites that don't play nicely with Safari, but Firefox takes care of that. There is Office compatible software , including Office itself, although I have to say that the Microsoft Mac software is probably the least friendly software that I've used on a Mac, but there's no surprise there I guess.

The one complaint that I have had is that the long term quality of the hardware isn't as good as I was expecting from Apple. The ethernet port and the superdrive have both had problems, and being an all-in-one these aren't user serviceable components. i guess it says something though that despite the fact that I have had problems with these whenever anyone asks me about my Mac I am only full of praise
