I bought my iMac G5 in 2010 and it is a really great computer. I come from a Windows background but after using this iMac I'm wanting to upgrade all my computers to macs. Currently I am running OSX 10.4.11 and everything runs very smooth. I got my iMac to mostly do music, as I was interested in trying Garage Band And Logic and I am very impressed and pleased.

Only Problems that I've noticed is that some Flash videos cause the computer to heat up but if you have your computer in an open area that shouldn't be a problem. Another thing is myspace moves slow on this computer, but then again its caused every computer I own to go slow.

I bought my iMac G5 for $98 on eBay, Typically they go for $200-300 so I would recommend an iMac G5 to anyone who is new to mac and wants to try one out before buying one of the newer ones.
