Advantages: A brilliant, easy to use and reliable computer

I'm not a computer buff or a computer wizzkid, so, this review will be based on the ease of use of the imac and not on its' specs.

The first time I ever used an apple imac was at my girlfriends house, who is a graphic designer and swears by apple. One of the best things with apple are all the little, clever ideas they come up with. For example, either side of the mouse are two buttons, you press them together and all the open windows are displayed one above another on the screen, making navigation between them a sinch. Also, the screen is (as an option) 24 Inches, a huge screen to be able to work on, allowing you to have a number of windows open, and being able to work on them or see them, at the same time.

The keyboard feels and looks great, it's about half a CM thick and the buttons are half that again. They feel great as you type as you only have to lightly touch them, rather than press them right down. You can pretty much get the same programs for the imac as you can for a pc, and I would highly recommend getting one - I go on the internet all the time and have never once had a virus get through onto my mac and it's never played up or unexpectedly quit. A brilliant piece of kit.

Summary: Once you try an apple, you'll never go back.
