I've had my iMac for a nearly two years now, and have had only one problem, after a year the fan began to stay on all the time. A quick Google search found a very easy fix and we were back on track.

Thanks to the 512gb dedicated ram the graphics are spot on, high quality games such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare run smoothly. I also use 3D graphics software such as Autodesk Maya which regularly crashes on my similar spec PC laptop... no such problems here.

The sound, although not exactly Dolby Digital is surprisingly loud and clean for those small speakers. This teamed with a the fantastic 24" wide screen makes video viewing as good as any TV.

Not only is it a fantastic computer which operates just as well after 2 years of hard work as it did on day 1, (often rendering through the night, it doesn't even sleep when I do) but it also looks fantastic. Even my girlfriend doesn't mind it being the main focus of the room.

This is a great all-round computer, entertainment & work will be completely covered. Seriously consider it!

Summary: Well worth the extra few quid, 99.99% reliable.
