Advantages: just the best, most stylish kit you will lay your hands on

Disadvantages: expensive especially if you go for the large screen

Best buy I ever made! I have always been a PC user and had little contact with Mac's, so it was a big jump of faith... ( and cash ). Since owning this great bit of technology I would never go back to PC.

I can only talk about the iMac as I have not used any others but to start, it is stylish.. man it looks good, it is almost an investment in art! Secondly, it feels good, there are on flimsy switches, trays, buttons no miles of cable, no ugly tower to contend with. Thirdly the sowftware available seems to have been made by people that care! I mean all the design packages that I use are so smooth easy and can take masses of information.

I could go on.. but for anyone thinking about buying one.. think no longer buy it! Its cirtainly a well worth investment, the only thing I would advise is if you can afford go for the biggest screen you can buy.

For those tech peps I beefed my Mac to 1024 RAM, and left the 2G memory as I thought that would be sufficiant - which it has so far, it also has 3.06 GHz intel core? not to sure what that does! but seems to work :)
