I also got caught buy the Mac virus in the beginning of 2006 and I do not regret it. After a Mini G4, 1.5 and a PowerBook G4, 1.33, I now finally bought this 2.0 Intel Core 2 Duo Apple Mac Mini version. The first thing I noticed was that the switch to Leopard went a bit clumsy. I got Euro 8.95 discount at the Apple store, so I could order an upgrade DVD for the total price. The new Mini's are now probably sold with Leopard pre-installed. Despite the new look and the new features that Leopard has, I think that it is not a dramatic new OS. However, it runs a little smoother on Intel processors and has Time Machine! The Mini is a wonderful device. It is a bit noisier that its predecessor G4, this is probably caused by the elements of the brand HD that are installed on it. However, it is faster and it has more USB connections and a sound input.

Moreover, it cooperates very well with VM Ware Fusion. So you can use those few programs that have no good alternatives, and run them on a small Windows installation. My "virtual machine" XP is only 3.5 GB and it runs very smoothly. OSX is obviously much more pleasant to work with: no spyware or viruses, your system does not work slower and slower, because there is no registry that is filling up! They say that a Mac is expensive, but the reason why is that Apple does not offer half computers. So you could say that it isn't that expensive if you see the amount of software that is included. There is also plenty of free and cheap software available on the internet! This Apple Mac mini is perfectly put together!
