So its been a while since I bought the Apple Mac Mini MB463B/A. It has Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 2 GHz Dual Core Processor, 1GB of Memory and 120GB Storage on Mac Os X. DVD writer. Thats the boring bit over....
So first impressions are get.....its tiny isn't it. Loved it when it arrived.
It is made from sleek, aluminum with lovely smooth rounded corners and a white cover. Saying all that the real impressive bit is obviously whats going on inside the lovely little box. The Intel Core 2 Duo processor, advanced NVIDIA graphics, and faster memory. There is also up to 320GB of storage so you can do almost anything. All on Mac OS X Leopard, which is the best and most advanced operating system.
Looking at it from the outside again and front facing, the Mac mini has a slot-loading SuperDrive. You can do endless rings with this, watch DVD's, burn music, mix CD's, make movies, made CD's or back up photos.
There are five USB 2.0 ports and one FireWire 800 port, so you can connect your keyboard, mouse, iPod, iPhone, digital camera, DV camcorder, external hard drive, printer, and iPad. You can even have up to two displays, including your TV, with the mini-DVI port and Mini DisplayPort. Its truly fantastic.
The beauty of this little device is that you can take it anywhere or fit it into your living space easily. Its not offensive, its subtle, sleek and can work anywhere in your home. You don't need to worry about what bag you're going to use that day either as it will fit in any size bag and no one will know you're carrying your trusted friend around with you.
If it performance you're after then don't rely on the Mac mini as this device is more about being able to afford a computer which has an array of features in a small package. Apple has said to describe it as the "most affordable way to get a computer with Mac OS X and iLife".
