Advantages: Large spaces for extra memory, easy to access inner workings, looks hi-tec

Disadvantages: VERY heavy, awkward to carry, built in speaker is rubbish

There is little doubt that this computer is compatible to numerous workplaces, and inside it is spacious enough to hold many different components that could be added to adapt and mould this computer to your preference. The inside is also incredibly simple to get to, all you do is unclick the side and wire up your desired components, no fiddly screwing is required. This makes this model perfect for those computer buffs who would like to custom design the computer to their own needs.

However, for the more conventional home use this computer does not live up to it's potential. It lacks USB ports, there are only two, and so for family use this could pose a problem as the keyboard takes one up, and so only one is left free. Also, you will need to buy outboard speakers because the tiny one at the front is appalling if you really want to appreciate your music.

If you have itchy feet and like to move house or move things around, this is maybe not the computer for you. Its funky and hi-tech handles are cool up until the point where you use them, and they hurt your hands quite a bit. This computer is no light-weight, either, and you will require at least two strong men to manage a flight of stairs.

That said, one must admit that it does look cool. Its transparent handles and shiny translucent panels will certainly boost your office space's looks. Every edge is streamlined, and has obviously taken the men at apple quite a while to fine tune.

Summary: Despite its looks, this not so user friendly computer isn't worth the effort for families.
