I typically build computers but after researching the all in one computers I decided to take the plunge. Researched the various makes and models for several weeks, both online and at Best Buy and ended up getting the Asus. I've always had good luck with Asus components when building computers and after spending a few hours with this one am quite happy with the purchase. It came with windows 7 but upgraded to windows 8 using Amazons special promotion and it works flawlessly on this computer. Really like the responsiveness of the touchscreen, the quality of the display, and the wireless KB and mouse. It runs very quiet (hardly know its on) and is quite nice to look at. All in all a wonderful machine, and for the price, a great bang for the buck. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
Myself and my parents bought this PC a week ago from PC World. I have to take mine back within 3 days due to a problem with the speakers. On arrival at PC world one of the tech guys said 'Oh yes, I have 3 of those PC's with the same problem, its an issue with the mother board'. So I returned the PC and paid an extra £100 to get a Lenovo as I wasn't going to waste my time buying another for the same thing to happen. 2 days later exactly the same problem occurred with my parents ASUS pc. Don't waste your money.
I've now been using this computer for three months and have additional comments.
Forget what I said about the touch software apps not being included. They are! You just have to know how to find them.
Launch 'Clearfi' and it's not too difficult to figure out how to use them,, although I don't fancy your chances if you are new to computers.
Again, it all comes down to the terrible 'user guide'.
The graphics are excellent when playing games. The NVIDIA GT520 runs most games at a good frame rate and if, like me, you are into Flight sims, FSX runs beautifully with a load of scenic additions from Aerosoft. and Just Flight.
All in all, an excellent computer, well worth the money.
But, come on Acer. Do something about the lousy user guide. I'll say it again, don't waste your money, you are not worth it.

The box and internal packaging was all great, easy to un box and set up. Great screen quality. Used Win 7 file transfer utility to transfer files from Win Xp to Win 7. No problems. Hardest to migrate was Outlook. Getting all of Outlook's configuration and support files took a bit of effort. Of course had to reload all major programs since no direct migration route from Win XP to Win 7 64 bit with regard to programs.
It really is nice to have so few wires/cables to worry about. I was upgrading from a many years old flat screen monitor and a underpowered laptop, so right off the bat I was thrilled with the beautiful hi-def resolution of the monitor and the speed of the processor. Makes photo editing a pleasure. The one issue with the monitor I've encountered is that it can be tilted forward and backward, but not raised up and down (I've placed it on a book to get it to the right height for me)
Pros: Original uniot purchased with 4MB of DDR3-1333 Mem. and wife was getting low mem msgs while working in Ancestry.com. Upgraded to Crucial 8MB CT2KIT51 and that change alone upped Win7 index from 3.9 to 5.1.
Cons: Asus 2210IUTS All-In-One is a bear to upgrade Mem. Must remove the plastic stand-bezel, 4 screws from the stand, 4 rubber plugs and 5 screws from the back. (one hidden under the center of the UL tag on bottom) Back can then be carefully pried off.
Multiple 3x5 screws to remove Faraday shield from the MB to get to the siamesed Ram holders. Have to admit the interior is both functionally and asthetically pleasing.
Other Thoughts: Asus builds a nice product but their support site sucks big time.
Bought one for my wife who had to replace her failing laptop. She wanted something that didn't clutter her desk, and this fit her criteria.
Even though only 4GB memory it is as fast as my Asus P5Q E8500, with 8GB, consistently faster loading a browser, and in downloading pictures and/or large files.
Cons: The screen is so big you must either limit the size of a picture or document, or swivel your head from side to side to review.
I don't particularly like the tactile feedback of the wireless keyboard, but my wife loves it, so moot.
Other Thoughts: Manual is very limited in scope. No indication where components are located within the unit, such as HDD or RAM. a y y y y
I recently purchased this product second hand as a back up computer and have been amazed by it so much that my old computer is now my back up. The Asus All-in-One PC ET2210IUTS sits nicely on the wall above my bed and it used also as a TV for the bedroom. I am not a techno buff so I can run you through the basics to give you a general idea of the system.
TV & Movie - The system comes with a built in DVD drive which runs very smoothly and no interruptions during the movies. It also has HDMI slots which means that other means of TV can be connected. I use Sky Go online and it runs like a dream.
Usage - The system came with a wireless keyboard and mouse which means that I can do all of my work from the comfort of my bed. It does make me a little bit lazy but I earn the right to be.
Memory and Storage - The system has a very good 4GB of ram and a whopping 500GB of storage. With all of today's gaming etc I realize that this may not be enough for some but it does me.
Overall this amazing all in one PC along with its 21 inch screen is perfect as a main computer as well as a spare HDTV for the bedroom. The product runs like a dream and I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a product if you are looking for a something with similar use. The product runs on Windows 7.
