Early in 2002 I started to love old computers, and now I praised the sleek Compaq Evo N600c thin-and-light notebook, giving it an Editors' Choice. Unfortunately, the updated model falls a bit short of that mark. The Evo N610c business notebook hangs onto most of the features we liked in the N600c, then boosts some specs and the notebook's overall speed. It's too bad the battery life on the N610c's primary cell is weak, although the system is so reasonably priced that you can buy a second battery without breaking the bank. The Evo N610c is a fine business laptop, just not quite as stellar as the Dell Latitude C640 and the IBM ThinkPad T30. The N610c looks almost exactly like the N600c, sharing the motif seen in the rest of the Evo family: black magnesium alloy with silver touches. And as far as thin-and-lights go, it's one of the thinnest and lightest, measuring 12.1 by 9.8 by 1.2 inches. Plus, its 5.6 pounds can drop down to 4.8 pounds if you use the plastic module in the MultiBay (more on this below). That's a marvelous weight, especially for the business traveler who needs the power and the options of a thin-and-light but the portability of an ultraportable notebook.
For a business notebook, the Evo N610c includes several user-friendly features. Four user-programmable buttons reside above the keyboard and come preset, but you can change each to launch the application of your choice. The speakers, which also rest above the keyboard, deliver decent sound for a notebook, although nothing like the rich sound from bigger laptops such as the Toshiba Satellite 5205-S503.
For its price, the HP Compaq Evo D310 is a very attractive looking system for the business. It has the ability to provide basic computing for the business needs. The HP Compaq Evo D310 is best for small businesses that does not really need a lot of file space and their workload is considerably low. It comes in either a carbon or silver colour. The ram is relatively low which is just 256 MB which can then be upgraded to 2 GB. The central processing unit is on Intel Pentium 4 2 GHz. It came with a one year warranty. It has a Data Bus Speed of 400 MHz, a Chipset Type of Intel 845G, a Processor Socket 478, Form Factor DIMM 184-pin, Interface Type ATA-100, a hard disk drive Speed of 7200 rpm. When it comes to its physical appearance, it has a width of 6.9 inches, an height of 14.5 inches. I could say I enjoyed its stereo sound output mode of a max sampling rate of 48 Hz.
I would say the price appealed to me a lot if you are in a tight financial spot and you need a system that have basic features and a good performance. I would conclude by saying that now, the speed need of the world has left the HP Compaq Evo D310 really behind but there is the option upgradeable ram to 2 GB, so that is worth considering if you really need something fast. But if your computer needs are just restricted to the basic day to day computing in your offices and not to be playing a high end 3D game, then I would suggest you take a look at it in consideration for buying because the price is really appealing.
Compaq EvoD310 for last 2 months, with windows seven, and then so much it's not a nasty expertise, it's a quite smart processor that extremely offers American state smart speed, however I face bit downside once I attempt to run multiple programs at a same time, could also be simply because it doesn't has enough ram, not appropriate for recreation, however one positive factor concerning the ram is it will be multiplied up to two G.B, though the put in quantity of ram is incredibly low simply 256 M.B, however I relish it's networking facilities
I am using Compaq EvoD310 for last two months, with windows 7, and so far it is not a bad experience, it has a quite good processor which really gives me good speed, but I face little bit problem when I try to run multiple programs at a same time, may be just because it does not has enough ram, not suitable for gaming, but one positive thing about the ram is it can be increased up to 2 G.B, although the installed amount of ram is very low just 256 M.B, but I enjoy it's networking facilities, I reckon it is not bad, so if you really want to buy it, you can go for it, because it won't be a waste of your resources, hopefully this will guide you some what.
