Compaq Evo D500 ... It seems to run pretty quickly, with the only slowness I've seen being when I tried to open I.E (could be down to the I.E. not being the greatest of programs though). Everything else opens speedily, the stuff I'm typing has no lag (always annoying for us touch typist's huh? ;-)). The hard drive is relatively small however (the one I'm on having around 31GB of space), this may be a problem to you I-tunes/Napster/P2P/Bit-torrent users (I'm not advocating the stealing of music here, but still a small hard drive will do you lot no favours). Compaq Deskpro EN ... for a negative the horizontal style is not near as good as the vertical style casing. And the inside of the computer is very hard to open up and work on, and it is very hard to upgrade. And the outside of the casing is not all that fashionable. <>Motherboard<> The motherboard is a high quality Intel based chipset. That comes standard with a decent CPU. Compaq Presario 5250 ... AMD decided to name their CPUs with reference to how fast Intel chips run. Yes, I know. Stupid isn?t it? And thanks to Gareth (aka bujin) for that answer! (Ahh, the wonders of MSN Messenger whilst writing a review!)
