Advantages: Fast, reliable, easy to use from home or at work .

First Looks_
This PC is rather old but still one of the best home PC's available, very relaiable. Comes with all software pre-installed on CD so if you happen to loose it all you can re-install it good as new. The instuctions manual is very clear and simple towards the setup and personal configurations of this Computer. It also gives you booklets/manuals on how to use all of the Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Publisher so that you know the basics. It comes with a 17" Monitor allready so you wont have to worry about buying a bigger one if you want. The monitor also comes with a hand instruction booklet on how to set it up and all of the settings available on it. Great for people who know nothing about computers !

The Dell Dimension 8200 comes with an Intel Pentium 4 processor, 512mb's of DDR2 memory/RAM, a 128mb graphics card that provides great quality for movies and music videos, a good entertainment system. It also has a 120gb hard drive space so you can store thousands of files songs etc. without having to worry. At the moment I have about 6 top of the range PC games running on this system with trouble at all, so as you can see it has great capabilities. With 1 CD/DVD drive and 1 CD/DVD writer drive you can that both meet the requirements of any buisness or household copy files onto CD's or just watch a movie what eve floats your boat, this PC can do it. It has 8 USB 2.0 ports 2 at the front and 6 at the rear for all the add ons you want eg. joystick headphone/microphone, the list goes on. It also comes with a floppy disk drive so that you can convert all your old files into crisp new CD's, i found this really convenient. It comes with Windows Xp pre-installed, this is renound for being excellent with loads of easy programs to create music librarys photo albums and slide shows... there are endless capabilities, Windows Xp is also currently the most common running system in the world so your files wont have to be altered to use on a friends PC if they have Xp aswell. Great advantage.
_Looks_
The tower has a great sleek modern look with a small comact design and smooth curves it really looks the part amongst your bits and bobs.
It also has that interesting mouth like part at the front which is quite interesting, i dont know if it has a use as a handle or something (dont try this you dont want to be breaking it) but it looks great. It comes with a monitor as i have already said, its a large flat screen LCD monitor with great design like the tower it has some large buttons which you wont find hard to press and no concealed dials like other monitors i have heard of. This is made by dell also which is great because you wont find it not being uncompatible or not working at its full capacity.
_Conclusion_
A great office PC or home entertainment system which is compatible with top of the range software, easy to put together and generaly great for all ages and users.
Summary: Great computer for work and the family will forfill all your computing needs
