Advantages: Still operating after 9 years, Windows XP for all the old games!

Disadvantages: No WIFI built in, only comes with a 80GB hard drive

Dell Dimension 8200 (8200)

I bought the 8200 back in 2000, it came with Windows ME (Windows Melienum Edition) But I did further updating to it! It cost me £500 and it came with a Gigantic monitor that had a VGA ouput in it so the good thing about it was I didn't have to go and buy a VGA Cable! It also came with various accessories. Unfourtuanlly it didn't come with WIFI built in but I am going to put WIFI in it, because I have this computer still connected to my monitor and play it for games! I have it connected with a KVM switch and it's working excellently after nine years!

What came in the Dell Dimension 8200 Box(s)...
Dell Dimension 8200 computer, 19" CRT Monitor, Dell PS2 keyboard, Dell PS2 mouse, Microphone that attached to the monitor, Dell speakers, three pin power cord, Windows ME discs, Ethernet cable and a printer (I bought seperatly off Dell).

Ports of the Dell Dimension 8200...
On the front of the computer... Two USb 2.0 ports on the front, Mic in, Headphones in and Two CD/DVD drives. On the back of the computer... Power port, 6 USB 2.0, A firewire port, A Ethernet port, PS2 ports, VGA and DVI ports, Audio ports and four more expansion PCI ports!

Overall
I love playing computer games on this computer, I have upgraded it from Windows ME to Windows XP and then I dual booted it with Windows 7 Ultimate Beta! So I have two Operating Systems on this computer! But no internet:(. It is really good for games but my Dell XPS computer is better! I have recently upgraded my Dell XPS to Windows Vista Ultimate too. So I will right a review on all four OS's when I get the chance to! I love playing Hitman Contracts on the Dell Dimension 8200, there is really good graphics on it! I have put my old CRT monitor to my roof space and play my Dell Dimension 8200, on my Dell 17" TV because it has a DVI port and a VGA Port! The Dell Dimension 8200 is an excellent computer runs fast, good graphics but the only disadvantage I have of it is that I have to use a wired internet connection:(. But im going to add a WIFI card to it when I get the money! It is one of my favourite computers in the household, but I wish I had Windows 98 or Windows 95 on it so I could play all of my old games from years and years ago! So I might download Windows 95 and Windows 98 and put it on the computer. The computer came with a 80GB hard drive but I put in a 1TB hard drive so theres 750GB for Windows XP and 250GB for Windows 7 Ultimate Beta! It is a excellent computer I would reccommend it to anyone who is looking an old computer to play all there old computer games! It costs around £200 to £400 now!

Summary: Excellent computer love running Windows XP

I swear by my Dell! I'm a Dellophile and will only probably ever buy Dell's. Good review.
