Dell Dimension 8200 (8200) I bought the 8200 back in 2000, it came with Windows ME (Windows Melienum Edition) But I did further updating to it! I bought a Dell Dimension 8200 back in August 05. It was pretty expensive, but I trusted Dell and went through with it. It was probably my best buy for a long time. I have had no problems with it, and it is one of the fastest PCs ever (well it is to me anyway). I have installed about 10 games on it now, but it has not slowed down at all. It was ... Dell is not good value for your money. Their systems seem ok until you look a little deeper. They use inferior quality parts and almost always integrate components to cut costs - this equals less performance and value for the user. They charge WAY more than what their systems are worth. Their excuse is that you get good customer support. I have ... Read the complete review

I have and still use in anger a Dell XPS 400R based on the PII processor, which I purchased in April 1998. I have been a fan of both the computer and the company ever since. As I usually like to upgrade, although not too quickly - I usually miss out one generation of processor model, replacing my 486 with a Pentium II and now with the ... Read the complete review

However, both my wife and I use our PC regularly, for the internet, to shop, for office work and for games. In this last category, my old Tiny was showing the strain - it couldn't cope with the ...
