Dell Dimension 3000 Advanced ... pc has been excellent - I bought it 3 years ago and have not had any real trouble with it. The dell website was really easy to use to customise your requirements although watch out for the hidden costs of buying software such as Word etc which is not included in the original price online. The pc has all the features you would expect of a budget pc but it provides sufficient memory to store thousands of songs and photos as well as deal with day-to-day activities. The pc tower is still one of the larger ones but looks ok. The flatscreen monitor is good although I would have bought a 17" if I had my time again. Dell Inspiron 530s ... splash the cash last May on this desktop from Dell and I ve been impressed with the reliablity since. Don t get me wrong that s not to say nothing has gone wrong but in reality every computer has a glitch sooner or later. My problem was I was unable to turn on the computer, no power, no lights. As it turns out the power supply buggered up on me. A call to Dell with my customer details ready I was put through to there support. It s vital you know Dell s support and technical centre is based in India so you ll will be greeted with an Indian support guy. I ve never had any problems with this, they are just as professional and knowledgable as the next man, but the only set... Dell Dimension 5150 Medium ... use a Dell Dimension 5150 at work and I have to say that I m pretty impressed with it. The computer is over 2 years old now and is used for 8 hours everyday, yet it s still running as though it was purchased only yesterday! I haven t experienced any slowdown on my system, everything is running just fine. The system comes with a pretty nifty monitor which is just the right size to work with everyday, but it also good enough to watch movies on (in my opinion). The keyboard is pretty weird, with nothing much surrounding the keys but this doesn t take much to get used to! The keyboard itself is pretty nice to use and typing on it is a joy.
