Dell Dimension XPS 420 ... bought this desktop PC a year ago from the Dell website and I am very impressed with the spec and value for money. It came with a Nvidia 3d card, 2GB ram and a 160GB hard drive. I have been able to play intensive games such as Crysis on it with the settings up quite high. This machine looks slick, with black finish and blue lighting, very handsome piece of kit. Dell have also been good with their customer service, when my 3D card stopped working a courier collected it and a replacement was sent to me within a few days. I have had no further problems and for the £520 I paid for this machine I am very happy, and would definitely look at Dell in the future if I required a ... Dell Dimension XPS 420 ... 4GB of ram, 700GB Hard drive, ATI HD3870. It runs like a dream (on Vista and Windows 7), running all my high demanding software (such as Cubase) effectively. Some may complain about the price, however, for a lot more power then a mac of the same price (my spec cost me £1,090), it s really good value for money for something that just works. It s worth noting that I bought this system after I built my own which was riddled with problems such as noise and overheating... Pros - Fast - Works straight out of the box - Great support from Dell (feels like they appreciate your custom) - Gaming, high demanding software, multitasking all work great Cons - Could be cheaper......
