Fujitsu SCALEo 600 ... recently purchased a Scaleo 600 through a work scheme, and I must say I am rather impressed with it. Assembling the PC was quite simple, it quite happily accomplishes everything I want it to do without problem, from rendering video, to high end gaming. Now I will be the first to admit that a 128MB graphics card, and 512MB of RAM are a distinct advantage in this, but my point is that I'm ecstatic with it. I no longer have to wait for things to finish processing anymore, which means I can achieve more with it. Surely that is the reason we all bought PC's? ... Fujitsu SCALEo 600 ... bought a Fujitsu Siemens 600 1700+ Athlon Base Unit three weeks ago. It was delivered within a couple of days of ordering (I think they normally say a week to ten days), and was set up without any problems within a couple of minutes. Although cheaper than a lot of other models on the market, I am very happy with the overall performance, even if the unit itself looks a bit plasticy. Only gripe is the speakers, which sound very tinny (but not a major problem, bearing in mind a good pair can be picked up for less than £20). The motherboard is fully upgradeable, although the sound card, memory (256mb), graphics (Nvidia Geforce 64mb), and hard drive (40gb) are more t... Fujitsu SCALEo 600 ... have wanted a new Computer for ages and ages, our last one wasn't too bad for most routine tasks, but as it ran at a mere 333mhz we thought it was about time to upgrade to something better. Incidentally, we didn't set out the other day to but a computer, we actually left to look at furniture, and came back with our new toy, the Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo 600 Desktop Computer, which was launched in October 2001. Our incentive for this was our Sim City 3000 game, just purchased, which wasnt running too effectively on the old slow machine! We bought the Scaleo from Comet.
