Advantages: Huge HDD, Great graphics, Great CD-DVD writer combo drive
Disadvantages: large tower, large/heavy monitor, poor instructions for speaker set-up
Processor- AMD Athlon 2700+ Quanitspeed Memory- 512mb DDRRAM HDD- 120Gb 7,200rpm Graphics- 128mb ATI Radeon 9700 Monitor- Mitsubishi 19" CRT Sound- Onboard sound Speakers- Creative 5.1 surround I bought this machine from the Mesh Computers website about 3 months ago. Service and delivery were fast, hassle-free and friendly. The computer came within two weeks of clicking "buy". The website is very user friendly with the different computer options in different cattergories and upgrades easy to order while ordering your PC. The XP 2700+ comes preloaded with windows XP home, and microsoft works suite. Works suite includes Word 2002, so you wont have any trouble dealing with Office 2002 users. The paperwork provided with the computer was addequate, though better instructions for speaker setup would have been good. The colour coding on the speakers and the colour coding on the computer do not match due to the computer having onboard sound rather than a seperate sound card. The monitor provided is a 19" Mitsibushi CRT. Picture quality is excellent as is the ease of use of the monitors own menu options for brightness adjustment etc. My only negative feeling toward the monitor is how much it weighs. However, if weight and size are an issue, an extra £15+VAT will get you a 15" TFT monitor instead. The Athlon 2700+ processor runs a little over 2GHz, but can perform tasks equivalent to a Pentium 4 2.7Ghz (almost). Coupled with 512mb DDRRAM this machine is ideal for gameplay while the huge hard disc drive makes digital video editing a breeze. Graphically the computer is a treat. The Radeon 9700 card, though not quite top of the range, has been up to every task i've asked of it whlie the monitor provides crystal sharp images. The standard CD drive with this machine is a Sony CDR,CDRW,DVDR,DVDRW which is a complicated way of saying it will burn any CDROM or
DVD surrently on the market, should the 120Gb HDD ever get full. The computer comes network ready which allows for highspeed broadband connections through the ethernet port. For those of us not quite so lucky, there is also a phone-line socket for internet and fax. The tower case is rather large and rather ugly, but is very practicle. Two USB ports on the front and 2 on the back allow connection of printers and cameras. Access to the case for upgrades and repair couldn't be easier as the case has 'tool free access' requiring only a set of keys attached to the back of the case to open it up. Should anything go wrong, Mesh provides a 3yr onsite warranty which is more than a lot of manufacturers do. The price, too, is competative with this machine 'only' being a little over £1000 inc. VAT, less than many similar machines from other manufacturers. All in all this is an awseome machine up to all but the most advanced uses. If you've got the space for it, I highly recomend this, and any other Mesh machine.

I got mine a couple of years back and both product and service were excellent
Will definitely go back to them for my next PC although this one still stands up to everything I throw at it.
