After scanning PC magazines and browsing a variety of electrical superstores and bending the ears of a variety of salespeople I decided that it was high time that I retired my ageing Amiga A1200 and joined the computing 21st century. The computer that I eventually settled on is a Packard Bell imedia 6200 system. So what did I get for my £900? In short an excellent package, which does what it is supposed to and does it well. At the moment it is me who is the weakest link as I find my way around, but the manual is written to be understood by mortals.
