... speedily, the stuff I'm typing has no lag (always annoying for us touch typist's huh? ;-)).
The hard drive is relatively small however (the one I'm on having around 31GB of space), this may be a problem to you I-tunes/Napster/P2P/Bit-torrent users (I'm not advocating the stealing of music here, but still a small hard drive will do you lot no favours). Sony Vaio PCV-RS312 ... like the speed of the system and the storage capacity. It will be okay for people that stuffs like video game, audio editting and video editting. It has flat screen monitor which make it very clear for viewing and cheaper to maintain in terms of power consumption. It is very affordable and user friendly. The computer comes full with a 40GB hard drive, more than enough storage space for a standard home computer for the family. Sony Vaio PCV-V1 ... screen can be tilted up/down and sideways, which can make viewing easier. And the DVD/CD is on the right side of the monitor. The other great thing is that you can use this computer as a tv with additional function of pausing live tv through the Giga Pocket!(though you also have to recored at the same time).Plus it's only built for normal tv, not digital. I particulary like the music function of the media centre, the speakers have a great clear tone and can be very loud! Plus there are very funky graphics on the Windows media player which are very atmospheric. Also the CD rewriter is pretty fast, only takes about 5 minutes in all to copy a CD. What don't i like...
