... was my first desktop pc. And it certainly did its job and looked the part. As you can tell its a Sony PC. So it is overpriced for what you get, but it is well built and is very very reliable. As you can see from the image the pc is light grey in colour with some subtle purple tinges which run down either side of the tower. Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo T ... ve had my Scaleo T for a few years, but it seems like I have had endless problems with it. When first purchased, it was fantastic, however after a while the CPU would regularly turn itself off, after a few minutes. The main issue is that it is poorly designed and has a tendency to overheat and switch itself off. The reason for this is that the heatsink/fan has very few mm of air space, causing dust to build up very easily, causing the fan to provide not enough air to get to the CPU and keep it cool. Seeing as it is a P4 processor, and they are supposed to keep going around 115 degrees centigrade so when it turns itself off, it s not good. If you were to purchase one ... Sony Vaio PCV-RS402 ... I start, let me make this clear: I m by no means a PC expert. I know my way around them, but I m not able to tell you how RAM works, or what a GH is without first reading about it. This shouldn t deter you, though. Not everyone who buys a PC wants to read about hard data. I own this computer. In fact, I m using it right now to write this review. Spooky? Not really. But what is spooky is that I ve owned it for such a long time and it s still running as smooth as when I bought it. Dell Dimension 3000 Advanced ... pc has been excellent - I bought it 3 years ago and have not had any real trouble with it. The dell website was really easy to use to customise your requirements although watch out for the hidden costs of buying software such as Word etc which is not included in the original price online. The pc has all the features you would expect of a budget pc but it provides sufficient memory to store thousands of songs and photos as well as deal with day-to-day activities. The pc tower is still one of the larger ones but looks ok. The flatscreen monitor is good although I would have bought a 17" if I had my time again.
