Apple Mac mini MB138B/A:
... Apple Mac Mini is compact and priced low, this mini gave me a surprise with its updated Intel Core 2 Duo processors. The look isn t much different as it has the same white plastic and aluminum design as it did when it was first introduced. So I just did not feel Apple did anything innovative in its design. Sony Vaio PCV-RX202 ... was my first desktop pc. And it certainly did its job and looked the part. As you can tell its a Sony PC. So it is overpriced for what you get, but it is well built and is very very reliable. As you can see from the image the pc is light grey in colour with some subtle purple tinges which run down either side of the tower. To match this the speaker grills are als meshed in purple as well as the keyboard wrist rest. So first of all lets look at the tower. The tower is large, quite bulky and extremely heavy compared to todays pc s. Not only this but when you turn the machine on it sounds like a jumbo jet is landing in your room. Its very very loud. Lenovo Thinkcentre A58 7611 ... using this PC at work for over 3 months I can say it has been a joy! It has suffered no crashes running Vista business edition and has performed impeccably. I know that the Chinese bought out the IBM machines division and I was expecting a decrease in the overall quality but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The plastics feel good, don t appear brittle and haven t marked in 3 months. The keyboard is OK for a bundled effort but some of the letters seem misplaced on the actual key but other than that not bad. The machine is exceptionally quiet, it is positioned at desk height and I cant even hear it, this compared to my Philips slimline at home sounds like...
