... using this PC at work for over 3 months I can say it has been a joy! It has suffered no crashes running Vista business edition and has performed impeccably. I know that the Chinese bought out the IBM machines division and I was expecting a decrease in the overall quality but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Acer Aspire M5100 ... year i was in the market to upgrade my pc and buy a better one. I found a website, acer outlet that sold premium acer products at a good price. It was just the pc, no monitor or speakers. When the computer arrived i unboxed the machine and set it up with my spangly new acer monitor and turned it on. A cool blue light came to life and lit the aspire sign. But i couldnt hear anything. The fan keeping the machine cool is super silent especially compared to my previous Vaio desktop which sound like a jet engine. The model i bought which was the M1500 had excellent specs : There was 1TB ( two 500gb hdd) installed, along with 3 gb of ram and an Athalon processor. The mo... Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Desktop Li 3740 ... using a trusted single core computer for so many years I have done away with one and decided to join the bandwagon of the multi-core. And from the sounds of it the 4 core ones are the best - and so here I am. - the BASICS - The Li 3740 is made by a computer company Fujitsu Siemens. I have heard all kinds of unfair comments about this company but the fact is they are reputable and they make computers - bottom line. The computer is of fairly standard specs of today: Core 2 Quad Q8200, 3Gb RAM, 500Gb hard disk, nVidia GeForce 9500 GS. (Please note the specification listed on Dooyoo is not actually correct.)
