... or software. Luckliy we had retained our old PC and stole the necessary items to make up our marvellous machine. However, the damned thing didn't work. It had not been preloaded as promised. Now we get to the main gripe. To lodge a complaint with TIME, we were told by the showroom and the sales office, we would have to call the £1 a minute line. Yesterday (8th November) we finally received a call back from TIME, after almost three months of ringing the £1 a minute line, calls to trading standards and two le...more

Time UltimatePC: Time is money!! (300 words)

Complaining to TIME has cost me money. Purchasing a PC from a TIME showroom in August, we were delighted (although out of pocket at a charge of £15 for Saturday delivery) when our newly built PC costing way over £1000 arrived. I purchased the top of the range PC from TIME in February 2000 believing that I had chosen the most reputable company possible. I eagerly unpacked my computer and assembled - Ia was dissapointed to discover that the DVD drive was not able to play my DVDs that I had bought. To cut a very long story very short I evenually after spending about £20 on phone calls was asked to send my computer back to be fix - they told me that it would take 3 days. 14 days later I was still waiting for my computer - after 16 days it came back but the problem still hadn't been fixed - I DID notice however that a program had been put on my machine that was previously not installed - ...  Read the complete review
