Advantages: Nostalgic, true-to form.

Disadvantages: A bit drawn-out in places.

This a really cool game which, in spite of its drastic format-change, (the bizzare conversion of a tactical RTS to a third\first person shooter) has incredibly managed to stay true to the style and feel of the original games. The fusion of gameplay and narrative works pretty well for a game that doesnt take itself too seriously. The enormous uniform buildings and vehicles you will remember from the previous strategy games are true to form, without looking in the least bit 'legoland.'

The guns are a lot of fun, but even more fun is the ability to commandeer plenty of awesome nostalgic vehicles that leave destruction in their wake, whilst reminding the player of the micromanagement enjoyed in the games predecessors.

This game should probably not be played by people who have not played a Command and Conquer game before, as much of the nostalgia and nuance of the combat will be sadly lost on them.

Summary: A fun little game that doesn't take itself to seriously.
