Crysis (PC) ... you followed the development of Crysis, from drawing board to release, then you might have a completely different view of the game. To some it may be a disappointment, yet to others this game is amazing. I ve followed the game through all it s stages of development, and to be honest I am quite impressed. That s a lie, I m astounded. The gameplay, the graphics, the storyline, it all adds up for a great time. The game is set in the future where nanosuit technology is the norm in the army, as well as nukes. Anyway without giving too much away, you have to save the world essentially. Battlefield 2 (PC) ... 2 is a very detailed modern day fighting sim. Although this game is getting fairly outdated it is still a very enjoyable game. Firstly the graphics, for a 2004 game the graphics are simply stunning! They shadows and depth of field make this game almost too realistic, as well as other aspects such as motion blur and shellshock. The scenery is beautiful and varied - depending on which terrain you are playing on. One minute you could be staring across a desert in the middle east, the next you could be prone, crawling along marshland in China. The actual gameplay is simply amazing as well. Half-Life 2 (PC) ... 2 is a technically amazing, sharply honed first-person shooter that pulls all the tricks that made Half-Life such a beloved experience. With that said, many of those tricks feel more than a bit familiar now, and the game itself is saddled with a disappointing story. Still, that doesn t stop Half-Life 2 from being a very impressive and engaging shooter. This game is awesome. It is a completely emersifing experience and you should buy it just for the mods alone. The engine it is made on supports stunning visuals and provides as close to possible kinetics. The mod that is the most worth getting in this is GMod 10 which you can buy off of the Steam platform for 1...
