Tetris (PC) ... is the classic puzzle game that everyone has played at one point. It is a game where you try and order random shapes (all made up of four blocks) into horizontal lines of blocks with no gaps in them. You do this through rotating the shapes as they fall from the top of the screen onto the blocks below. When a line is complete, it disappears, and the blocks begin falling quicker. However you look at it, this is a clever game. I like the way that it takes advantage of computer technology where it was at in the 80s - graphics were poor, so don t make anything that looks too complex. Instead, tax our brains. The great thing about this game is that it is simple to play... Read the full review: Tetris: classic 80s childhood by bruffyboy |

V Rally 2 (PC) ... Rally 2 was the first car racing game I ever bought that actually convinced me I was racing a real car. The graphics were so good, the cars looked almost real, and that is saying something considering this was ten years ago. On top of that, the cars behaved like normal cars: they skidded, slipped etc as real cars do, and you had to develop a strong sense of control to race well. The courses looked stunning, and were so well designed that you got to know exactly where and when you needed to brake a littl... Read the full review: Best racing game ever by bruffyboy |

The Sims 3 (PC) ... sims 3 is such a step up from Sims 2, which was my favourite game! In the Sims you create sims like yourself, or create anybody you like to live, and play as they build a life and a career that you control. The first noticeable difference in the game is the fact that the neighbourhood is seemless, if you didn t have a really expensive fast computer with the Sims 2, you would have to wait forever for your community lots to load, which can put you off going there, but in the Sims 3 you can walk out of your house and go anywhere you want with no loading time! The create a sim is very different also, sims now look more realistic and they have their own personality. You ... Read the full review: Revolutionary gaming by kaylashaw09 |
