Revier Civilization 2 (PC)
... a rule my favourite type of game is one where you have to put some thought in to get something out of it, of course, sometimes you just feel like blowing hordes of zombies away with a shotgun but generally speaking I am a strategy fan at heart. Civilization 2 is an incredible strategy game, with the focus being on empire expansion and the obliteration of your enemies through a mixture of military might and diplomatic superiority. ... some people have gone out and bought the Sims 3 games I ve stuck to purchasing expansion packs for Sims 2. I have other reason though, the main being I know that my computer could never support the needed system requirements. I opted for this particular game because I wanted to do something else with my computerised companions. To actually give them something else to do other than the same old thing-getting up, married and gaining skill points. Revier Half-Life - Counterstrike (PC)
... the name suggests, Counterstrike is an add on to the hugely succesful FPS Halflife. The game takes the basic mechanics of half life, changes them slightly and moves the experience online. There are two factions to choose from, Special Forces and Terrorists. The Terrorists must succesfully plant a bomb at a predesignated site on the map, and defend it until it detonates, the special forces must defuse said bomb before it goes off. The winning side receives cash for their troubles, this can be used to purchase better weapons, Kevlar armour and even a shield (most servers forbid the use of the latter item as it does make the game a little one sided).
