Age of Empires II is my second time in the franchise as I played the first one for a long, long time. This is considered an RTS (real time strategy) game where you build up buildings to make units in order to win a large battlefield conflict. For those who have played the first game the sequel is better in almost aspect. First off you will get more options to automate some of the annoying tasks such as finding idle builders. Also the AI is much smarter and allows you to have more time for strategy and no micro managing the battlefield. I have slowly been working my way through all the Age of Empires games and thoroughly enjoying them all.My grandson is now borrowing them one at a time (Hah) he is now as hooked as I am.From the very first time you play this game you get training and you work your way through the misions(Hint: save as you go)nothing worse than winning and forgetting to save a mission and you have to play it again(frustrating trust me I know).When you have got through all the missions you can then opt to play against the conmputer so there is hours and hours and hours of play.I found myself trying to figure out a stratergy when away from the computer so you see it is adictive but great ...
