An absolutely fantastic game to play if you like the real time strategy games. With invention of cannons and guns, this really comes alive in comparison to it's older bothers, Age of Empires I and Age of Empires II. The player has the choice to do a quick battle, online play or the campaign. The quick battles and online play consist of the player choosing a civilisation and battling against a chosen foe(s) on a map of their choice. You can have up to eight different players in a game on any amount of teams.
The online play can be ranked and you for every game you play you build up your home city and unlock new rewards that enhance your gameplay.
The campaign is both long and very surprising. I have completed it three times and each has been different so far.
Well worth getting this game if you love the strategy based games.
