Age of Empires 3 is a Real Time Strategy (RTS) game based on different civilizations ie, British, Spanish Aztec etc and competing against each other either against the computer or online against other players to conquer and become victorious.

You start with a town center, a scout to explore the map your on and find your opponent, and villager and collect resources such as food and wood to age into another level so that you an build armouries and stables to create fighting units to attack your enemy.

In my opinion a decent strategy game, good gameplay and very good online features. I have learnt the basics of the game against the computer in normal gameplay and then developed my game online, creating a user account and playing against better players which enables you to improve your strategies, gain raings for ins or lose that ratings through losses and interact with friends online. A very fun filled game, and if your competitive I would suggest this great adaptation of the orginal Age of Empires.
