At first I was sceptical about purchasing this as usually i go with the Farming simulator brand, however I thought that I would give it a go. For the purchase price of £20 it was slightly more than I had paid for my 2011 Farming Simulator.
One thing that drew me to it was the fact that the specification is less than farming simulator. You can run on 1GB RAM and a 256MB graphics card however I am running mine on 2GB RAM and 1GB Graphics card.
On opening the box I was a bit concerned as the only thing in it was the disc and a product code, no map or instruction manual as in farming simulator. I must admit that for 2 days I had to drive around and make myself a map for the game. It took me ages to find the petrol station and fuel also dissapears quickly in this game you use nearly half a tank just getting back to the farm from here so you practically have to do 10 mins work then go back to filling station or as I found out you could upgrade and then you can fuel from the tank on the farm.
The nice advantage with this game is that there are many animals and you can breed by going up through the levels. New vehicles unlock through out the game and many chances to expand your farm and workers working for yourself.
Workers can only do certain jobs the same as within ls farming 2011, ploughing, cultivating, seeding and combining.
You have to do spraying, fertilizing with manure, cleaning out ordering and transportation of products from the farm to seller.
You will recieve orders for crops that will earn you a nice bonus if you fulfill the order and by the required time.
The game runs extremely well, no lag or delay.
All in all its a good game, all equipment is extremely well designed and field information is given on all fields it includes a percentage of ploughed field, cultivated field, sowing and fertilizing and then how much has grown at the end stage. Make sure you combine the whole field and get good value for money
you can control tractor movement with either arrow keys and or the farming simulator keys wasd
