This is a Richard branson tycoon game. Your aim is to command the friendly skies and grow your very own airline. You are set a variety of tasks, whereby you are required to send x number of people to various destinations around the world. Sounds easy enough well it isn't. Although I haven't had a chance to play the network version yet, it is bloody hard to achieve all your tasks, but its worth persisting. I never thought I'd like such a game, but it's different and that's what attracted me to it. If your expecting rollercoaster tycoon it is definitely not the same style of play. It is a business strategy game plane and simple! ... Read the complete review

Airline Tycoon is a simple yet effective and entertaining game for the budding Richard Branson or Stelios whatever, the easyjet guy. The player takes control of one of 4 airlines in an airport in almost any city in the world. You become one of 4 charcters and have to complete various challenges, and in doing so, beat the other 3 airlines. You begin with 2 planes and a filofax and have to take orders from travel companies, transport cargo and fly predetermined routes. Towards the end of the game, the 'final frontier' is the main objective, as your airline must branch out into commercial space travel. Notable features around the airport include Ricks Cafe, where you can go ... Read the complete review

Airline tycoon is where you have a company in an airport and you are competing against 3 other companies and the idea is to get the most flights and on time so that you get the most money and impress the airport manager. You have to run around an airport visiting various places such as duty free, you can by an address book to get you places quicker or you can buy a cell phone instead of running back to your office to confirm deals then you can do it on the go to save time. Other places you can visit are: hangar to get your mechanics to repair planes, you can visit the museum to buy 2nd hand planes or or plane room to buy brand new planes. There ... I bought this game a few weeks ago as i love management sims. It was definately a good buy i'm hooked!! The aim of the game is to beat competitors to be the best airline. You have your own planes of which you have to get orders for passengers and cargo but remember to get an ADVISOR to let you know if the order is worth taking, getting as many as you can but not too many as if you overbook or there isn't a gate free you have an hefty penalty to pay. There are other facilities inthe airport ie:duty free where you can find some useful objects for the game, the airline museum for the plane teh bank, the newspaper kiosk and, ricks cafe where you can find ... I bought this game a few weeks ago from the “bargain basket” section of my local supermarket. It a few years old, but as an fanatic of simulation games, I had to have it. Got it home, and loaded it onto my pc, surprisingly without the problems I was expecting that usually happens with games of this age. The requirements to run this game are quite low, and I assume that anyone’s computer can run it. The specs needed are as follows. P266, 8mb 3d graphics card, 32MB ram 450MB free disk space. On installing the game and starting to play I found it took a while for the game to load up the different scenes, I have finally found a way to get over this by simply clicking ...
