This make you into real life airport managing and it is just amazing. Very good thinking in the scenarios, plenty to choose from, all around the world. The game starts by asking you where you want to build your airport. All people in all countries want that in their city have the best airport in the world. I decided that I wanted to try something a bit different from the other management games like Sim City and Railroad Tycoon and began thinking what game would I really like. I decided I wanted to still maintain a strong management link like Sim City but I wanted a bit more fun and something unique. I have always enjoyed playing so called 'management sims' like Theme Park, Rollercoaster Tycoon and Sim City, so thought that when I saw Airport Inc. on sale for £10 it was too good a bargin to miss. Usually I find that I become totally engrossed in this type of game, spending hours on end building up my empire, and watching the money roll in, then having fun spending it all, just so I can earn some more! I found Airport Inc for free (from Freeloader.com), so this is the reason I have it, I’m not sure I would if it wasn’t free. I’m not sure if I would recommend it if it wasn’t free either. The game starts by asking you where you want to build your airport. This is a detailed part of the game as there are many locations (all over the world) and they all have advantages and disadvantages. It then asks you how close to the city you want to build it (closer locations get more passengers but are more expensive). After this you have to build your first terminal and runway. Most of us are control freaks deep down. We may not show it in every day life, but there is something exciting about playing god, or being in control. I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking that the concept of games such as Sim City and the like, is actually quite boring. I mean, there is no action to be had…..you just build your own city and see how well it grows. How do games like this sell so well then?
