American Civil War (PC)

I am a very big fan of strategy games, I got this one as a present from my girlfriend. well in the beginnign I hated teh gaem, there is just so much detail and its so complicated that its impossible to learn unlesss u have 8 hours a day fre, being a student, I didn't have that much time on my hands. I never got into the game properly in my semester, bu than came mid semester break. most of my friends had gone back home and I was stuck in uni, so I gave this another try, now the game really sucked me in. I have never seen such a detailed simulation of civil war games. I love games like this, I'm even the club secretary of the stoke on trent wargames group. Detailed simulations of this sort are the of thing that really give me fun. However with 4 kids running around and time to walk the dogs, I can't seem to give this game the time it takes to learn it. It is a steep learning curve which requires patience and attention to detail, working out how best to organise your troups.
