Still the best Anno (Anno 1701 (PC))

If your thinking of buying the new Anno 1404 game my advice is dont... buy this game Anno 1701 instead. The new game Anno 1404 does not have multiplayer and has a software piracy protection 3-install limit and no deauthorization tool, its a joke and customers will be voting with their feet.
Anno 1701 does have multiplayer and is so much better than other building games such as sim city. It is an emersive and addictive game this, I have seen myself play for 12 hours straight, day after day. It revolves around both real time strategy and city building elements, and around building and maintaining an 18th century colony in the "New World". Like previous Anno games, it is based mainly on the economics of the settlement created by the player. The more skilled and efficient a player is at maintaining a balanced economy the more successful his/her settlement will be.
As with previous Anno games, the player starts with just one exploration ship with which to colonize land, fight off pirates and expand his/her resorces to conquer the game world. While the player expands, other computer controlled rivals are expanding and strengthening and these will need to be defeated. There are many ways to do this either through sea battles, land battles, alliances or lodge activities etc...
The graphics are beautiful and the attention to detail is awsome, in-game sounds are also amazing. The background music is relaxing but can get a bit repetitive but thats the only thing I can think of thats wrong with this game.
Well worth buying.
