	American Civil War (PC) ... have never seen such a detailed simulation of civil war games. I love games like this, I m even the club secretary of the stoke on trent wargames group. Detailed simulations of this sort are the of thing that really give me fun. However with 4 kids running around and time to walk the dogs, I can t seem to give this game the time it takes to learn it. It is a steep learning curve which requires patience and attention to detail, working out how best to organise your troups. If you are looking for a game to start and win straight away this isn t for you. You need to take time to work out troup positioning and size. 	Pro Cycling Manager 2008 (PC) ... This isn t for the hardcore players but for the people who like using there brains. The game play is based on making the cyclists you control, use more or less energy, you can make them hang back for water or go around other opponent s. The sound during game play is very annoying, because of the commentator constantly saying "Oh and he passes." every ten seconds and with a terrible soundtrack it just rubs salt into the wounds. This game really wasn t for me but I can see what the creators Ascaron, where going for. 	UFO: Afterlight (PC) ... game follows on from the earlier episode in the UFO series, but I have picked the series up after quite a long break (I think the last one I played prior to this was XCOM: Apocalypse). You take control of a base on Mars that has been set-up by some people who have fled Earth after an alien attack, in order to preserve the species. Your aims are to terraform mars, to make it a suitable base, and find out what has happened to those you left behind on earth. The action is split over a strategic world map, and a tactical mission map.
