Advantages: Fast Graphics
Disadvantages: Point & Click system - Completely Illogical And Annoying
A weird game. Recommended to anyone with a weird idea of reality or someone that can pull ideas out of nowhere! You're the Decendent of seth the previous hero. The world is in peril and you're the only one to save it. Travelling to meet a shaman to help you in your quest you'll travel to four exotic sites based both in myth and real life. You'll have to help characters in Ireland, Mayan, China and in Shambala. I found this game rather poor compared to other adventure games that I have played such as Grim Fandango. . Improvements from the first game is the ability to save at will, you're not given a certain amount of time to accomplish a certain action or to die as in the past. As I said earlier, this is a very weird game and nearly impossible to complete as the answers to all the puzzles are completely illogical or guesswork! The point and click method is a bit annoying; sometimes it is not possible to get directly from one point to another. I often missed objects and artifacts. There is this globe which completely confuses everything up which consists of clicking the right spot. Very confusing and no tips whatsover to help you! After all that ranting and raving, I like the graphics! Much better than Atlantis 1, Nothing was jerky and everything had a nice touch to it.. Especially with the characters but I think with 3DFX and all that today, its fallen behind in a big way. The sound on the game was mediocre and fitted the game.
