Advantages: Deep Story and character driven

Disadvantages: Old graphics, can be slow for hack 'n slash types

This is THE PC RPG game of the last few years. It may not be as pretty in modern standards as it's predessors, bu it makes up for it with an amazing story and deep characters.

You can go to IGN for the story overview, etc. I am really going to tell you why this game rocks. Firstly it is good because of the characters. You wll be able to enjoy conversations that help you get to know your companions, also you will be able to controll them directly giving even more gameplay options.

The other thing is the very D&D roleplay system that let's you pause your action and get the view of the battle before rushing in. This is a tactical game where you can take your time, and plan your moves each step of the way. Additionally you will have full ability to go in real time and use hotkeys.

This is the game that put Bioware on the map. It is a true classic and worth a buy. It's mega cheep also.
