Advantages: Very long game

Disadvantages: Too combat-oriented

I don't like this game. It starts off alright, but by thge end you're just sick and tired of the whole thing. Let me explain.
This is an Advanced Dungeons and Dragons game set in the very generic Forgotton Realms. Over the course of the game you have to wander around a lot, do boring stuff, and have to fight lots and lots of people. This is where the game falls down for me, because I soon tired of having to kill everything in sight and just longed to do something more exciting. I know it's tough trying to integrate anything even approaching real roleplaying into a computer game, where by it's very nature it needs a defined plot, but other games have done it much better. After countless underground tunnels filled with bad guys I just got so tired of the fights (which aren't done very well, to be honest) that I stopped playing it.
I think I'd have enjoyed it more if there'd been more puzzles to solve, and if I hadn't played the Fallout games earlier. Both of them really show how to handle a computer roleplaying game well.
Oh, and I also felt that the plot was drawn out to breaking point.
