Advantages: goood gameplay

Disadvantages: a bit out dated now

battlefield 2 is set in modern era in countries in the middle east and asia. there are 3 teams, 2 of which feature on each map. US armed forces being the main force that is on all maps, and the opposing force being either mec or china depending on the map. bf2 is mainly a online multiplayer war simulator with most aspects of modern combat being featured. the player can spawn as one of 6 classes, each of which are armed differently and have different purposes on the battlefield. once players reach a certain number of global points they rank up gaining a new military rank and also gaining weapon unlocks every few levels. there are 2 unlocks available for each class and these weapons are normally more powerful or accurate than the standard or stock weapons that the classes begin with. along side the different classes there are a wide range of vehicles that the player may enter and use for his personal use, they range from jeeps to apc's to tanks, helicopters and also fighter and bomber planes and finally boats. each one of these may be employed in combat against the enemy. the point of the game to attack and defend flags that are placed around the battlefield and once you have more flags than the enemy their tickets start to drop. also killing enemy players drops there tickets also. when tickets reach zero that team looses. this game is very time consuming and also addictive so once you play you may become hooked. good graphics and gameplay help make the experiance seem that little bit more real
